Located between the valley of the Aveyron bordered by the forest of Palanges and the Causse de Séverac, the Land of Laissac provides an amazing diversity of landscapes. A land of hills and bushy or woody puechs and large more arid spaces, it will seduce you throughout the seasons, by its contrasts, tranquillity and serenity.
Located North of the department of Aveyron, the canton of Entraygues sur Truyère flirts with the Cantal and Auvergne, at equal distance from Aurillac and Rodez, between Conques and Laguiole. Crossed by the Lot Valley and the Gorges de la Truyère, from 230 m altitude to 780m, pretty panoramas are unveiled. The Office de Tourisme du Pays d'Entraygues welcomes you throughout the year.

Roquefort, a cheese, a village. Roquefort in Aveyron, located at the foot of the Rocher du Combalou, listed Grand Site de Midi Pyrénées, is a unique village of its kind. It is there and only there in the deepest cellars that the famous cheese of Roquefort, 1st French AOC is refined.
Le Pays d'Espalion is crossed by the river Lot (formerly "Olt"). Located at the north-east of Rodez, the land stretches in the adjacent Valley and glens, climbing of the Monts d'Aubrac via the road of Cayrol. The municipalities Lassouts, Espalion, Bessuéjouls at the south reach the platform of the Causses and only the village of Cayrol is completely located on the platform of Aubrac. St-Côme d'Olt, Espalion and Bessuéjouls are located on one of the great pilgrimage roads to Saint-Jacques de Compostelle : Via Podensis.
A visitor arriving in Bournazel in the 19th century wrote: "From the castle to the lake, you don't know here who, man or nature was the architect, painter or jeweller to create such a special decor with bucolic charm".
